Walks

IMG_5821 Pororari-Punakaiki River Loop (3 Hours): The Pororari-Punakaiki river loop is known as one of the best half day walk in New Zealand. The track takes you up into the Paparoa National Park through limestone gorges, native forest and even a cave.  mapa pcaPancake Rocks and Blowholes (45 Minutes): The world renowned Pancake Rocks and Blowholes walk often provides an exciting and sometimes very wet experience. As the rocks have been eroded over millions of years Pancake stacks have since been created and offer a superb photo shoot.

We recommend going to the Pancake rocks at sunset to get the best view possible.

Truman Track (30 Minutes): The Truman track leads you down to a secluded beach with overhanging cliffs. The pounding Tasman sea smashes against the rocks, creating a blowhole similar to that of the Pancake rocks. Experience waterfalls and outstanding views on the Truman track!  DSC02974The Boot estuary stroll (30 Minutes): Go for a relaxing stroll down to the boot (a rock carved out as a boot). Best at sunset this stroll is relaxing and very close to the camp. Find one of three tracks heading down to river and beach to explore. DSCF1427
